Amazing people!  Amazing project!  It was a pleasure to work with brother/sister team of Aldo Marin and Liz Marin-Andel of Marin Funeral Home in Chicago.  FFH design was tasked with the full renovation of public spaces for this funeral home.  With attention to every inch, we collaborated with Aldo and Liz to develop a timeline, budget and vibe for the new space.  A vibe that would reflect their personalities and their business brand.  This funeral home is in a heavily populated, diverse neighborhood  and owners have a passion to serve the community with respect, responsiveness and with a strong sense of hospitality.  The building, built in the 1920’s, was structurally sound and while walls were moved to accommodate larger restrooms, much of the design was cosmetic.  FFH design was able to re-build the kitchen into a two-part hospitality area, renovate the restrooms and provide a fresh, new look to the remaining public spaces.  Thank you, Aldo and Liz, for the opportunity to work with you!
