Johnson-Nosek Funeral Home

We were so pleased to work with Debbie and Frank Nosek and their daughter, Nina, on their 2^nd facility in the Chicago area.  We had completed the first funeral home about 2 years prior.  The first facility incorporated a plantation vibe (see photos in Kuratko-Nosek project shots), this second facility caters to a little different community.  We built on the owner’s love of farmhouse to create a comfortable, upscale farmhouse industrial design for this funeral home.  Mixing in a little old, with a little new…  a little polished with a little glam.  And while clients were so pleased to have this completed – the real marketing is the exterior space which is right outside the lounge double doors.  This space will be used (see the outdoor wall mounted flatscreen TV) during visitations and rented for smaller catered functions.  The outdoor patio is easily visible from the street and enhances the street signage – building on the “buzz” in the community.  Thanks to the Noseks for their vision and collaboration on this project!  What fun!
