Grundy Funeral Home of Southwest Virginia

We’ve had the joy of working with Mr. Ryan Mullins and staff of Grundy Funeral Home of Southwest Virginia, in Grundy, Virginia. This must be one of the most beautiful locations in the United States. Driving through coal country, the heart of the Appalachian Mountains is a stunning experience. But even that doesn’t match the heart of the people. Grundy is home to a faith-based, exceedingly caring community and Ryan wanted the funeral home to reflect that type of atmosphere. We put our heads together to change the use of some of the space, add a designated hospitality area and upgrade furnishings and audio/visual to give their families a new experience while in the funeral home. And keeping in mind that one of the first things families notice is the condition of the restrooms – we were able to upgrade both men’s and women’s restrooms to ADA compliance.
